Prior to IDinsight, Akshat worked as a Consultant at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, where he was seconded to the office of the Chairperson of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on One Nation One Election, advising on legislative and policy matters. He was also a LAMP fellow, where he worked on parliamentary intervention and contributed to legislative research. Akshat holds a BA (Hons.) in Economics from Banaras Hindu University, where his research focused on climate change and health economics.
