Nirali works closely with the COO on organizational strategy, cross-functional initiatives, and leadership decision-making across the global organization. She supports strategic priorities, partnerships, and systems that enable IDinsight to scale its impact. Prior to joining IDinsight, Nirali held roles in programs and strategy & operations at GiveDirectly in the US, where she supported the delivery of cash assistance to people living in extreme poverty and those affected by crises globally. She has also worked with the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Practice, where she contributed to parental leave policy reforms for informal economy workers in developing countries. She began her career in Delhi, where she served as a Teach For India Fellow and a Programs Lead for Skills Development and Livelihoods at SEWA. Nirali holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the School of Liberal Studies in India and a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard Kennedy School.
