Cassandre Pignon is the West Africa Regional Director at IDinsight, based in Dakar, Senegal.
Cassandre brings 12 years of experience working alongside government officials on economic development strategies and governance reform in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to joining IDinsight, Cassandre was the Director of Business Development at Shurook, a U.N. initiative supporting the development of private sector projects tackling critical public issues in the West Bank and Gaza. She previously worked at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and with McKinsey & Company advising governments in Morocco, Tunisia, Liberia, Malawi, and Ethiopia.
Cassandre holds a Master in Civil Engineering from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
