As a Senior Associate and subsequently Senior Manager prior to taking on this role, Mallika led client engagements in India and Africa on projects focused on health and nutrition, community empowerment, data systems, and administrative data quality. She is passionate about helping decision-makers in the social sector amplify their impact and has over 5 years of experience working with government partners in India and Ethiopia, implementing partners in Nigeria and West Africa, and a range of funders in the sector. She has also been actively involved in IDinsight’s Value of Information work and the Dignity Project. Prior to joining IDinsight, Mallika was a consultant at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, working on grant portfolio support. She has also interned at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and Innovations for Poverty Action, Zambia. Mallika holds a Masters in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), Geneva and a bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She speaks English, Hindi, and French.
