Marc Shotland is the Director of the Technical Team at IDinsight, based in the US.
Marc brings nearly 15 years of experience implementing impact evaluations of development interventions and teaching others how to do so as well.
Before joining IDinsight, Marc was the Director of Research and Training of MIT’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) where he worked on improving research standards, developing evaluation infrastructure, and building evaluation capacity of development organizations.
Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Williams College and a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
