Leads IDinsight's expansion efforts in West Africa with a deep commitment to generate evidence in the agricultural sector.
Pierre is a Manager at IDinsight, based in Dakar, Senegal, previously in Nairobi, Kenya.
Pierre manages the execution of a wide range of projects at IDinsight in West and East Africa. He has particular expertise in agriculture, currently managing a randomized control trial of the Babban Gona program in Northern Nigeria. He also managed the design of a monitoring framework for AGRA’s corporate strategy and launched the evaluation of a post-harvest management training program by the Farm to Market in Alliance in Zambia. Prior to joining IDinsight, Pierre managed multiple impact evaluations, predominantly in agriculture with Innovations for Poverty Action in Namibia and the World Bank in Ghana.
Pierre holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics and an MSc in Public Policies and Development from the Toulouse School of Economics. While at the Toulouse School of Economics, Pierre interned with Innovations for Poverty in Senegal where he supported several rounds of data collection for a randomized control trial of a sanitation program in peri-urban Dakar.
