Manages the Data on Demand team that supports NITI Aayog on the Aspirational Districts Program by providing a field infrastructure to rapidly gather high quality field insights in a cost-effective manner from 27 districts in India.
Rohan Parakh is a Manager at IDinsight, based in New Delhi, India.
Rohan is passionate about using technology to drive evidence-based policymaking at scale. He brings a unique set of experiences in financial inclusion, agriculture and education.
Prior to joining IDinsight, he managed randomized evaluations in microfinance at IFMR LEAD, and developed M&E frameworks for UN's Capital Development Fund to improve financial access in Africa’s least developed countries. He led agricultural value chain development projects at TechnoServe, and supported product development for smallholder farmers at Precision Agriculture (PAD). He has also assisted education/talent organizations such as Teach For India, Avanti Fellows, Talerang and Shortlist, in their early stages to set up operations.
Rohan holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, and an MPA in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
