Zack Devlin Foltz (Morocco)

Economist II

Leads IDinsight's "value of information" work and provides methodological support to the West and North Africa teams.

Zack is an Economist at IDinsight, based in the Rabat, Morocco office. As a member of the Research and Evaluation team, he advises project teams on methodological design and supports staff in executing high-quality data collection, analysis, interpretation, and communication of results. He also leads IDinsight’s work on the value of information – developing approaches, models, and tools to anticipate the social impact of proposed research.

Prior to joining IDinsight in 2018, Zack lived in various parts of Latin America and the Middle East. He speaks English, Spanish, some French, and “okay” Egyptian Arabic.

He holds a Master’s in Global Affairs from Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and a Bachelor’s of Economics and Political Science (Honors) from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
