As Southeast Asia Chief of Staff, Aisha partners with IDinsight’s regional leadership to drive strategic priorities, build and maintain relationships with funders, government counterparts, and thought leaders, and support organizational management across the Southeast Asia offices. She ensures that the region’s initiatives and partnerships remain aligned with IDinsight’s mission of using data and evidence to improve lives. Before joining IDinsight, Aisha was a Research Manager at J-PAL Southeast Asia, where she collaborated on randomized evaluations of social protection, vocational training, and child health programs. She also served in the Executive Office of the Indonesian President as a Professional Aide to the Deputy for Economic Affairs, where she worked on initiatives to improve farmer welfare and strengthen agricultural markets. Aisha holds a Master of Public Administration in Economic and Political Development and Data Analytics from Columbia University. She also earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia.
