As a Manager, Alec has led projects and workstreams across different countries in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia. His experience includes developing research design (with a focus on education), designing M&E assessment tools and capacity development plans, setting up data systems, and developing low-code mobile apps. Prior to joining IDinsight, Alec was a Customer Experience Architect at GCash, where he handled overall project management and the experience design of digital products and services for the financially underserved. He also served as a volunteer for Help from Home to aid local civil society organizations in their COVID-19 response. Alec holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering with a minor in Development Management from Ateneo de Manila University.
