Alexis Tabo (Senegal)

Associate

Alexis TABO is an Associate at IDinsight based in Dakar, Senegal.

In his current role, Alexis is involved in the design and implementation of a learning program for Senegal’s electricity compact. This program is a partnership with the Millenium Challenge Account Senegal 2 (MCA-Senegal II). It is also part of the Senegalese government’s Emerging Senegal Plan.

Prior to IDinsight, Alexis was a young professional at the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results Francophone Africa (CLEAR FA), a World Bank initiative. As a young professional at CLEAR FA, he worked on the evaluation of an education project in Burkina Faso. He also took part in the evaluation of CESAG’s strategic plan. In addition, he has worked on a meta-synthesis of evaluations carried out by UNICEF in Madagascar. Furthermore, he has worked on customer satisfaction analysis for two banks. He was also part of the team that carried out the market study for the CESAG incubator.

Alexis holds a degree in planning from the Ecole Nationale d’Economie Appliquée et de Management (ENEAM) in BENIN. In Senegal (Dakar), he obtained a Master’s degree in Management and Decision Sciences, with a major in Actuarial Science at the Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion (CESAG). His work in Burkina Faso led to an article published in the African Evaluation Journal in November 2024. He speaks French, English, Adja (local Beninese language), Fon (local Beninese language), and Ewé (local Togolese language).
