Ari Gandolfo is a Senior Manager at IDinsight, based in Lusaka, Zambia. Ari leads diverse project teams to deliver innovative research and advising for clients working in health, education, agriculture, and governance. He has managed qualitative and quantitative evaluations and tailored advisory projects in Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia. Prior to joining IDinsight, Ari managed projects and partnerships at Results for All, where he worked with government agencies to advance the use of data and evidence to improve government effectiveness. He has previously worked for the National Endowment for Democracy and DAI, and conducted research for the U.S. Department of State, the Brazilian Ministry of Social and Agrarian Development, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. Ari holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Pomona College and a Master’s in Global Development from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He was a Fulbright Fellow in Indonesia and served in the Peace Corps in Mozambique, and speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and Indonesian.
