In his current role, Ashruth supports IDinsight’s partnership with the Government of Rajasthan to drive women’s empowerment in the areas of education, health, and nutrition. Prior to joining IDinsight, Ashruth worked with Nikore Associates, a policy think tank, and led its research efforts on themes like employment, gender, and governance. He has also worked on early-childhood care and education with the ASER Centre, and on climate change adaptation and resilience with the Observer Research Foundation. Ashruth holds a postgraduate degree in Economics, with a specialization in Environment and Resource Economics, from the TERI School of Advanced Studies, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
