Astha is a Senior Associate with IDinsight and is currently supporting an embedded unit within the Planning Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. In her previous role as a Project Associate with the Centre for Social and Behaviour Change (Behavioural Insights Unit – Uttar Pradesh), she supported projects focused on complementary feeding, iron and folic acid supplementation, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, and capacity building. Astha began her career as the Founding Associate of a boutique consulting firm based in Bangalore. She also served as a Youth Advisory Panel Member from India on the Global Mental Health Databank Project funded by Wellcome Trust UK and has contributed to research projects focused on global mental health with organizations such as Sangath and PATH. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai (2021), and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai (2019). Beyond her professional endeavors, Astha loves to read and is deeply passionate about dance and is trained in the Indian classical dance form, Kathak.
