Prior to IDinsight, Borj worked as a policy innovation consultant for non-profits and government agencies in the Philippines, developing frameworks on youth participation in governance. He also served as a civic engagement lecturer at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and co-founded Positive Youth Development Network, a youth-led NGO advancing meaningful child and youth engagement in the country. Borj holds a Master of Public Policy (First Class Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington as a Manaaki New Zealand Scholar, and is a YSEALI Academic Fellow at Arizona State University.
