Prior to joining IDinsight, Cecilia spent a bit of time building her experience in the Public Finance, Public Policy, and Social Impact Measurement spaces. Particularly, Cecilia worked at the National Treasury and Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis; where she focused on Public Finance Management, Public Investment Management, and review and analysis of Finance and banking sector policies. She also worked at 60 Decibels, where her client-facing role involved survey design, project execution, data analysis, and generation of insights based on client needs, particularly for clients in the Financial Inclusion sector. Cecilia has also held other research-related roles at the National Council for Population and Development, Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya. Cecilia holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics from the same University. She has published articles with KIPPRA, UNUWIDER, and Partnerships for Economic Policy.
