Edith Mwaniki is a Global People Operations Manager at IDinsight, based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Edith leads the design and execution of the organization’s global people systems across payroll, recruitment, benefits, and compliance. She oversees the payroll function across all IDinsight country offices, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing, while strengthening knowledge management systems and internal controls to support operational excellence at scale. She also leads the global recruitment function, driving strategic improvements that attract top talent and partnering closely with regional teams to deliver high-quality hiring processes while also overseeing the administration and periodic review of employee benefits to ensure offerings remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational values.

Beyond operational oversight, Edith leads priority projects and strategic planning initiatives that strengthen IDinsight’s global people infrastructure, particularly in recruitment, payroll, and employment systems. She collaborates closely with Global and Regional Operations teams to align priorities and drive execution, while championing initiatives that enhance organizational culture and elevate the overall IDinsighter experience.

Edith is passionate about building people-centered systems that combine rigor with care, ensuring that operational excellence and employee experience go hand in hand.

Prior to joining IDinsight, Edith served as Senior Manager, People and Culture at Busara in Kenya, where she led the People function as a strategic partner to the business. She drove organizational alignment, strengthened core people systems, and built scalable structures that enabled operational excellence and supported the organization’s growth trajectory.

Edith holds an MBA in HR, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and Counselling from the University of Nairobi. She is also a Certified Human Resource Professional (Kenya) and a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management.
