Passionate about leveraging technology to enable sustainable impact on the African continent, especially in the field of education.

Fọlárìn is a Manager on the Research Evaluation and Data (RED) Team Operations at IDinsight, based in Nairobi, Kenya.

In his current role, he is tasked with ensuring that IDinsight’s Research Evaluation and Data (RED) team with a focus on the Data Science, Engineering and Monitoring System (DSEM) sub-team has the best people, systems, processes, and policies to support its operation and propagate its impact.

Prior to IDinsight, Fọlárìn worked in a variety of data-centric roles in EdTech and Higher Education with the African Leadership Group (ALG). Notably at ALX in Kenya and Nigeria, as well as the African Leadership University (ALU) in Mauritius. He is most proud of his work in designing systems and processes to enable access to education for students with atypical academic backgrounds by leveraging non-traditional assessment techniques. He is a co-founder of EDfricast, a podcast on the Higher Education and EdTech landscape of the African continent.

Fọlárìn holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the Chandaria School of Business, United States International University-Africa (USIU-A), and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Technology (Conc. Forensic Information Technology and Cybercrime) Cum Laude, also from USIU-A. He is fluent in English, Yoruba, and has limited working proficiency in French.
