Information Security and Systems Lead

Leads the Information Security and Systems function at IDinsight. Passionate about building and securing information systems to enable impact.

Fọlárìn is the Information Security and Systems Lead at IDinsight, based in Dakar, Senegal. He manages the organisation’s information security program and oversees its internal IT function.

Prior to IDinsight, Fọlárìn worked in various data-centric roles in EdTech and higher education with the African Leadership Group (ALG), notably at ALX in Kenya and Nigeria and the African Leadership University (ALU) in Mauritius. He is most proud of his work designing systems and processes to enable access to education for students with atypical academic backgrounds by leveraging non-traditional assessment techniques.

Fọlárìn is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the Chandaria School of Business, United States International University-Africa (USIU-A), and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Technology (Conc. Forensic Information Technology and Cybercrime) Cum Laude, also from USIU-A. He is fluent in English, Yorùbá and has limited working proficiency in French.
