Garima Rana is a Manager at IDinsight, based in New Delhi, India. Prior to joining IDinsight, Garima was working with Education Research Team at FCDO (earstwhile Department for International Development) in the United Kingdom, where she managed research projects on learning outcomes in developing countries. Garima has also worked as an independent researcher with the Centre for Social and Behaviour Change at Ashoka University in India, where she codified qualitative insights from work of grassroots innovators on application of behavioural science principles, and with Ashoka Innovators for the Public in India where she led a household survey exercise across 3 states of India to understand farming and nutrition-seeking behaviour of women farmers in India. Garima holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Indira Gandhi Institute for Technology, Delhi where she received the GE Foundation scholarship. Garima has completed a Master of Public Policy from Blavatnik School of Government at University of Oxford with the support of the Felix scholarship. She was also placed on the reserve list for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2016.
