In her current role, Isha works with nonprofits, funders, and other ecosystem actors to identify opportunities to apply AI and technology to advance impact, shape product and partnership strategies, develop new solutions, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen the broader ecosystem for responsible innovation. Prior to joining the DSEM team, Isha was a part of the DataDelta team at IDinsight and managed monitoring, evaluation, and large-scale sample survey projects in India and globally. Isha holds an M.Sc. in Urban Policy and Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialisation in Nanotechnology. She began her career as an India Fellow with the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR), where she worked with rural communities in Maharashtra, India. She has also contributed to data collection and research efforts in collaboration with scholars from the University of Oxford and teams at J-PAL.
