As a member of the Research and Evaluation team, Kashif supports project teams with the technical design and analysis of impact evaluations, process evaluations, and other IDinsight services. He has worked on projects across Africa in global health, sanitation, rural livelihoods, agriculture, education, and mental health. Previously, he was a client-facing Associate based in India. He worked on the Aspirational Districts Programme project with NITI Aayog and the Gates Foundation and supported the administrative data quality backchecks for the nutrition and agriculture sectors. Prior to joining IDinsight, Kashif worked as a Research Assistant for The Pearson Institute for The Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts and The Energy Policy Institute at UChicago while at graduate school. Before his Master’s, he worked as a research assistant in Sierra Leone for Wageningen University & Research and also volunteered abroad in Peru and Uganda. Kashif completed his Masters of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in International Development, with an Economics minor, from McGill University.
