Leah works directly with the Chief of Staff, East and Southern Africa (ESA) and IDinsight’s ESA leadership to implement initiatives that align with ESA’s regional strategy. She manages relationships with important funders and thought partners around the continent. In addition, she works to enhance collaboration between the ESA Executive team and other IDinsight teams. Prior to IDinsight, Leah worked as a consultant within the Actuarial Services practice in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Kenya. She played a key role in a wide range of actuarial assignments across Sub–Saharan Africa, which included financial modelling and analysis, insurance reserving, capital management and audit support. Leah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi and a Certified Actuarial Analyst qualification from CAA Global.
