Leads client engagement and project management from Dakar, with a passion for finding right-fit solutions for each partner.

Lorraine is Director for the West and North Africa region at IDinsight, based in Rabat, Morocco.

In her role in the West and North Africa team, Lorraine leads client engagement and oversees projects in order to drive each partnership to achieve its social impact goals. Her portfolio spans community & human development, agriculture, and gender, with a special attention to ecosystem building and supporting social businesses. She joined IDinsight in Dakar in 2021 as a Manager, rapidly growing into a Senior Manager, and has been directing projects since 2023.

Prior to joining IDinsight, Lorraine was a development effectiveness officer at Proparco, the French Development Finance Institution, working on development impact project due diligences and dedicated to maximizing Proparco’s contribution to sustainable development, based in Paris. She previously managed multiple RCTs based in Togo and in Ghana for the World Bank on private sector development, youth employability, and gender issues for several years, and worked as an economist for The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in London.

Lorraine holds a master’s degree in Human Resources from Sciences Po Paris and a master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris and Ecole Polytechnique. Lorraine speaks English and French.
