Meg Battle is the Southeast Asia Regional Directorat IDinsight, based in Manila, Philippines. In this role, she supports the organization’s strategy and growth in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia. Her regional projects include designing a monitoring system for the Philippines Department of Health’s regional universal healthcare delivery pilot, two evaluations of school-based handwashing interventions with UNICEF WASH (Philippines), and advisory engagements with Proximity Designs (Myanmar) and Jeeon (Bangladesh). Meg also supports engagement with the impact investing community in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining IDinsight, Meg spent six years leading and advising public health organizations in Battambang, Cambodia, including child protection and women’s health organizations. Meg also worked as a strategy consultant for public health nonprofits in the US. Meg has a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and International Studies from the Boston College Lynch School of Education, and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she was a Sommer Scholar. Meg speaks English and Khmer.
