Meltreen’s roles include partner interactions, in-depth statistical/econometric analysis, field team management, client interactions, and internal team building. Prior to IDinsight, Meltreen worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Africa Mission – Cooperation and Development (C&D) in Uganda, where she developed monitoring and evaluation tools required for various projects in the sectors of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Agriculture and Livestock; Healthcare and Socio-Education. She also worked as a Research and Data Associate at Eldotec Consultancy Services Inc. Meltreen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree in Development Economics and International Development from Palacky University (Czech Republic), University of Clermont Auvergne (France) and University of Pavia (Italy).
