Prior to joining IDinsight, Miguel was a Project Coordinator at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), where he supported the Undersecretary for Policy, Planning and International Affairs in managing the Department’s relationships with international organizations. Before serving in the DENR, he also worked in the National Economic and Development Authority where he conducted research on mineral resource management and taxation in support of the Government’s efforts to conduct an industry-wide audit of the country’s mining sector. Miguel holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
