Mitali has worked on a variety of project teams, including the Data on Demand team, Innovations team, SWAYAM evaluation team, and COVID-19 response surveys team. She has experience managing large scale data collection activities, creating data quality management systems, building Theories of Change, selecting indicators, designing measurement tools, and analyzing data. Prior to joining IDinsight, Mitali gained field experience by working in Kenya on digital financial inclusion projects as an intern with the Georgetown University Initiative on Innovation, Development, and Evaluation. She also worked for the Institute for Development Impact as a junior consultant. Mitali holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics (Honors), certificate in International Development, and minor in Mandarin Chinese from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
