Mulenga leads all elements of IDinsight’s evaluation and advisory projects, including evaluation design, project management, oversight of analytical processes, engagement of internal and external experts, and construction of high-quality communication materials including policy briefs, technical reports, and presentation materials. Mulenga also oversees all aspects of client engagements in order to produce high-quality outputs, but more importantly, to drive each client to achieve its social impact goals. Prior to joining IDInsight, Mulenga worked at Centres of Infectious Diseases Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) where she was the pharmaceutical lead on an NIH funded clinical trial testing an intervention aimed at integrating service provision for non-communicable diseases into existing platforms for HIV management in Zambia’s primary healthcare setting. Mulenga has also lead evaluations and supervised field team evaluating projects in WASH, Nutrition, Education and aquaculture. Mulenga is an alumni of the Global Health Corps fellowship; a highly competitive global public health, social justice and leadership development fellowship. Mulenga holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Zambia. Mulenga was awarded best student in the Health Policy and Management graduating class during her MPH training. Mulenga is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health from the University of the Western Cape, and is in the 2nd cohort of the Health Policy Analysis Fellowship run by Prof Lucy Gilson under WHO’s Alliance of Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR).
