Ruchika Joshi is a Manager at IDinsight, based in New Delhi, India. In her role, Ruchika manages multiple client-facing projects that focus on improving end-to-end data systems to drive more evidence-informed decisions. Currently, she leads a learning partnership with BRAC in Bangladesh to support their community health worker program and a monitoring engagement with Azad Foundation in India that focuses on women’s employment. Ruchika also works closely on internal projects that aim to make IDinsight’s work more gender-inclusive. Previously, as part of IDinsight’s innovations team, she was leading experiments in satellite imagery- and electoral rolls-based sampling methods to make high-quality data collection cheaper and faster. Ruchika has also run multiple evaluations of education technology products in India and spearheaded the communications strategy for IDinsight’s State of Aadhaar project. Prior to joining IDinsight, Ruchika worked at the JustJobs Network where she authored a study on the impact of workplace gender diversity on firm performance, as well as led the organisation’s global policy outreach efforts. Ruchika holds a master’s degree in Economics from Ambedkar University, Delhi, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
