Before joining IDinsight, Ryan completed his medical internship in rotations in private and public hospitals and then briefly worked as a primary care physician. He had also contributed to quantitative and qualitative research on health-seeking behaviors and social listening. Ryan holds a dual degree of Doctor of Medicine and Master in Business Administration (MD, MBA) as well as a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and a minor in Creative Writing from Ateneo de Manila University.
