Prior to joining IDinsight, Shailya worked at Carnegie India, where she analyzed India’s Industrial Policy and the Production Linked Incentive Schemes. She also worked as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Parliament (LAMP Fellow) at PRS Legislative Research, where she conducted a survey in rural Bihar to evaluate the functioning of public institutions and drafted a Private Member’s Bill. Shailya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ramjas College, University of Delhi, and is a graduate of the Dexterity School of Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
