Simran leads Design and Digital Communications at IDinsight, driving strategies that amplify the organization’s impact across digital platforms. She develops and implements communication plans for social media, the website, and newsletters, ensuring IDinsight’s work is accessible to decision-makers and stakeholders. She designs and manages digital content that showcases IDinsight’s projects globally, transforming complex data into engaging assets like videos, teasers, and infographics. Simran also supports internal communications, promoting best practices and assisting teammates in effective communication efforts. Previously, Simran was an Assistant Manager at the Young India Fellowship (YIF), where she led outreach, ran advertising campaigns, and elevated YIF’s brand on social media. Simran holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies and Research (DipASR) from Ashoka University, with a focus on English Literature. Her dissertation explored “Women, Witches, and Witch-Hunting in India: From the Historical and Literary Past to Contemporary Urban Spaces.”
