Subha is IDinsight’s inaugural Director of India Operations. She is based in New Delhi where she leads growth, systems, people operations and culture-building for IDinsight’s largest regional office. Over the past 5 years, Subha has grown IDinsight India from 30 to 120 teammates. Subha has fifteen years of experience leading operations in the social sector and working on international development projects in early childhood education and public health. Prior to joining IDinsight, Subha worked at the Boston Consulting Group, Central Square Foundation and Institute for Financial Management and Research. She also served as a William J. Clinton Fellow with the American India Foundation placed at the Tata Steel Rural Development Society in Jharkhand. In the US, Subha was a Teach For America corps member teaching first grade in Las Vegas Valley and an operations director for TFA’s Los Angeles Institute. Subha holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biological anthropology from Binghamton University and a M.Ed. from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She was an Institute of Education Sciences Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education. Subha has served as an advisory board member for the AIF Clinton Fellowship, Rotary India Humanity Fund and Vanderbilt University Project Pyramid. Subha has worked in the US, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Botswana and Kenya and speaks Bangla and English.
