Vasundhara Chauhan is a Manager, Strategic Communications at IDinsight based in New Delhi, India.

Vasundhara leads the development of IDinsight’s digital communications strategy, working to strengthen the organization’s digital footprint and create a cohesive brand language across platforms. She works across teams to manage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders using digital communications channels, oversees the organization’s CRMs, and uses data to create informed and tailored content with clear pathways for audience interaction and reach.

Previously, as a Senior Associate at IDinsight, Vasundhara supported project teams across Asia and Africa to elevate their findings through curated communications strategies that brought our data-driven, evidence-based approaches using a storytelling lens to the fore. She focused on strengthening and building internal systems and tools by leveraging technology and systems to streamline, meet, and deliver larger communication objectives. She further specialized in crafting engaging newsletters and developing effective social media strategies to enhance IDinsight’s brand visibility and engagement.

Before joining IDinsight, Vasundhara gained experience at Weber Shandwick, servicing clients, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her role involved in-depth research into their intervention areas, leading to the creation of impactful content utilized for message dissemination. Prior to her tenure at Weber Shandwick, she interned with their Social Impact Team, contributing to Project Manyata—a CSR initiative by Merck for Mothers focused on reducing maternal mortality in private healthcare clinics across India.

Vasundhara holds an MSc in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in History (Honors) from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University.
