Akashmegh works with the Data on Demand team, on Niti Aayog’s Aspirational Districts Program project that aims to improve administrative data quality. He has experience in Theory of Change development, indicator selection, measurement tool design, data collection, data quality processes, and analysis. Previously, he worked with IDinsight’s Delhi Government COVID response team. Prior to IDinsight, Akashmegh has worked as a Risk Manager at IIFL Home Finance for its Product, Policy, and Risk division. He gained field and research experience as an intern at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi and through work on Indian elections and electoral data at the Trivedi Centre for Political Data. Akashmegh holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours) from Ashoka University.
