Dakar

IDinsight’s Dakar office, established in 2017, serves as the regional hub for our work across West and North Africa. Our team collaborates with governments, NGOs, social enterprises, and philanthropic organizations to generate data and insights that strengthen decision-making across key sectors including education, health, governance, agriculture, and gender.
We have worked  and are currently working with a diverse set of partners, including:

• Government partners such as the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Grassroots Development in Togo, the MCA Senegal Compact II, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security  in Sierra Leone  and the Edo State Government in Nigeria.
• NGOs and social businesses including Tostan, RAES, CARE, ARED, La Laiterie du Berger, ApiAfrique, and IT4LIFE.
• Foundation and bilateral-supported initiatives including work with the Gates Foundation, IDRC, APMI, and GiveWell.

Our team—comprising colleagues from over 10 nationalities and a variety of academic and professional backgrounds—is united by a shared commitment to impact and continuous learning. We foster a vibrant and collaborative team culture, hosting regular learning sessions with peers from across the policy and development ecosystem, and organizing team-building events that connect us beyond our day-to-day work to enjoy what Dakar has to offer!
