Amine Messaoudi (Morocco)

Regional Communications Officer, West & North Africa

Amine Messaoudi is the Regional Communications Officer for the West & North Africa region at IDinsight, based in Rabat, Morocco.

Prior to joining IDinsight, Amine served as a Political Analyst at the US Embassy in Morocco, managing the Human Rights portfolio, providing crucial regional context for US-led development initiatives and implementing strategies to advance U.S. policy objectives in the wider MENA region.

With a background in grassroots research and political publications, Amine contributed as a Projects Analyst for Targa AIDE and a writer for several magazines. In 2016, Amine was the communications manager in a successful electoral campaign for a Moroccan MP, subsequently assuming the role of Parliamentary assistant during the legislator’s term in office.

Amine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from EGE de Rabat, University Mohamed VI Polytechnic, and a Master’s in Public Policy and Social Change from Collegio Carlo Alberto, University of Turin, Italy. He also studied Sports Studies at the ILEPS: École des Métiers du Sport in Paris, France.
