Prior to joining IDinsight, Amir worked with Palindrome Data as a consulting Data Scientist, developing machine learning models in a public health context and delivering data science training to healthcare professionals in Nigeria. His previous experience also includes working with the World Bank to model interactions between the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as various research assistantships at the University of St Andrews. Amir holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of St Andrews and a master’s in Data Analytics & Society from the University of Leeds. He is fluent in English and Persian.
