Catalina specializes in providing evidence-based counsel and support to senior leaders in education, including government agencies, foundations, and NGOs. She focuses on enhancing preschool and primary education through planning, monitoring, and evaluating human development programs. She leads evaluation and advisory projects, handling different aspects of the projects from design and management to analytical oversight and creating high-quality policy-oriented reports with a research length. Prior to joining IDinsight, Catalina worked as a consultant for the Firms Initiative at IGC. Moreover, she worked at international organizations such as the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in the Integration and Trade Sector. She has extensive research experience in different topics, including access to finance for SMEs in East Africa. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Development from Toulouse School of Economics.
