Prior to IDinsight, Cheikh worked at Baamtu as a Data Scientist working on integrating African languages in AI, Computer Vision and classic Machine Learning such as Churn Detection. He also worked at Coris Bank in their Asset and Liability Management department and at the French Institute of Petroleum in Solaize-FRANCE as a Data Scientist, where he did Mathematical Modeling and Spectra Analysis. Cheikh holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and a Bachelor’s in General Mathematics and Application from the Claude Bernard University of LYON. He speaks French, Wolof and English.
