Evy is a people operations professional passionate about building efficient systems and processes and using data to create agile work environments where people can reach their highest potential. As part of the Global Operations team at IDinsight, she leads recruitment, people development, compensation strategy, culture initiatives, and the broader people operations function, contributing to a multicultural team working across Africa, Asia, and the US. Before joining IDinsight, Evy served as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner at the African Leadership Group (ALX & The Room). She led high-quality hiring at scale, reworked processes to make them seamless, and built data structures that strengthened people operations decisions. Before specialising in talent acquisition, Evy worked as an HR generalist supporting the administrative and operational functions of HR departments in multiple organisations. This foundation gave her a well-rounded understanding of HR processes and the versatility to manage diverse people operations responsibilities. Outside her people operations work, Evy is the writer behind Unconventional Pathways, a LinkedIn newsletter that explores leadership, growth, and the uncomfortable questions that shape how we live and work. Evy holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Nairobi, along with an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from One League in collaboration with Harvard Business and Stanford Online.
