Inayat works with the Data on Demand team, where she is currently developing the strategy for launching an all-India, nationally-representative panel in the country. In IDinsight, she has experience working on multiple projects with partners such as the Nudge Foundation, the Delhi Government, the Ministry of Rural Development, and NITI Aayog. Before joining IDinsight, Inayat gained research experience working with Carnegie India on tax administration and with Ernst and Young on energy transition. She also worked with the Centre for Equity Studies, where she conducted a survey on urban homeworkers residing in Delhi. Inayat holds an MSc in Development Studies (Specialism in Applied Development Economics) from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from Hindu College, Delhi University.
