Poornima works with the DSEM team, helping set up predictive models and analytics for various data science projects. She has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Tuebingen, Germany, where she worked on developing machine learning and statistical methods for solving problems in neuroscience and climate science. She also holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Physics from IISER Kolkata. She is fluent in English, German, Hindi and Tamil.
