Priyanka Dua (India)

Junior Economist

Priyanka is a Junior Economist based in the Delhi office.

Previously as a Senior Associate at IDinsight, Priyanka worked on the Aspirational Districts Programme project, which aims to enable results-based governance by improving data quality. Her work focused on technical design, analysis and client deliverables across Health, Nutrition and Skill Development sectors.

Prior to IDinsight, she worked as M&E Lead in the Evaluations vertical at DMEO, NITI Aayog, leading evaluations in the rural development and agriculture sector as well as development of monitoring frameworks for flagship schemes like MGNREGS, PMAY-G, NRLM, etc. and other initiatives of the Government of India. She has also worked with IFMR LEAD on a field research pilot studying absenteeism among rural casual workers and their contract preference in Odisha. Previously, she worked on macroeconomic analysis and modelling as an Economist at a hedge fund.

She holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the London School of Economics, University of London International Programmes.
