Rob Sampson is IDinsight’s Senior Director of Transformation and Impact Improvement at IDinsight. Rob works on evolving our business model and building the most impactful and efficient organization possible. As part of that role, he runs our Internal Learning team focused on measuring and learning from IDinsight’s impact across our diverse portfolio of projects as well as our Process Improvement Team whose objective is to increase IDinsight’s cost-effectiveness by empowering staff with better tools, information, and processes. Prior to this role, Rob spent four years leading client-facing projects at IDinsight in Delhi, India. He specialized in leading open-ended learning partnerships with NGOs and foundations that use IDinsight’s full range of services, especially data strategy, monitoring systems, process evaluations, and data science. He’s worked with partners like BRAC, LGT Venture Philanthropy, Cartier Foundation, Educate Girls, Evidence Action, Central Square Foundation, Indus Action, and Tata Trusts. Prior to IDinsight, he worked in engineering, manufacturing, and water and sanitation. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University and an MPA in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School. He speaks English and Spanish.
