Prior to joining IDinsight, Serigne worked at DKT International and at the International Development Company (SDI Inc.) as a Research Assistant. He has worked on several projects at SDI, including a project on Menstrual Hygiene Management in collaboration with the World Bank (GIL) in Mauritania and coordinating the project on cash transfer to the poorest households in Senegal in collaboration with UNICEF. Serigne holds a Master’s degree in Statistics and Public Policy Evaluation from the National School of Statistics and Economic Analysis of Dakar (ENSAE) and at the Université of Paris Dauphine-PSL. He is the valedictorian of his class and speaks French, Wolof and English (Medium level)
